This covers what happens to your details when you use this website. Woodlands Construct is Regan Simmonds, based in Woodlands, WA 6018.

When you ask for a quote

The quote form asks for your name, and a phone number or an email address so we can get back to you. You can also tell us your suburb, the type of job and anything else useful.

That goes straight to Regan by email, and a copy goes to Clearway Apps, who built and look after this website. It is used to answer your enquiry and to quote the work. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

If your enquiry fails to send, we get told. The website watches for that, because an enquiry that quietly vanishes is a customer nobody rings back. That alert goes to Clearway Apps only, and it repeats what you filled in along with your IP address, your country, your browser and the page you were on, so we can work out what went wrong and contact you anyway.

The same alert is sent if our spam check discards your enquiry by mistake. That check is meant to catch automated junk, and if it ever catches a real person we would rather know and ring you than never hear about it.

What the site measures

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people find useful, which parts of Perth they come from, and whether they asked for a quote or tapped the phone number. It sets cookies in your browser to do that. It tells us how the site is performing; it does not tell us who you are.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the pages are actually used: how far people scroll, what they click, and where a page is confusing or broken. It can replay a visit as a diagram of clicks and scrolling.

It does not record what you type. Anything you enter in the quote form, your name, your phone number, your email and your description of the job, is hidden from those replays before they are saved.

You can stop all of it. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, neither tool is loaded at all, so there is nothing to opt out of. A browser that blocks analytics, or any ad blocker, stops it too. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept as ordinary business records, in the same way a phone call or a written quote would be. Website measurement data is kept for 14 months and is then deleted automatically.
