About Woodlands Construct
Woodlands Construct is Regan Simmonds. We are based in Woodlands, WA 6018, and we pour concrete across Perth's coastal and western suburbs.
What we take on
Residential work is most of it: driveways, alfrescos, pool surrounds, paths, steps and steppers, and larger residential packages where a whole property gets done at once. On the finish side that runs from exposed aggregate, honed and liquid limestone through to architectural pieces and plain grey.
We also do small commercial. Factory and warehouse slabs, commercial hardstands and similar packages. It is a real part of the business rather than something we take reluctantly, and the equipment and crew are the same.
What we are after is good sized, worthwhile jobs rather than patch-up work. If you have a small repair we are probably not the right call, and we will tell you that rather than quote it high to make it go away.
How we work
Regan runs the jobs and is on site. When you ring the number on this site, that is who you get. We use Limecrete and Geostone Holcim for most mixes, WA Concrete Supplies for materials, and Elite Line Pumping on most pours, which keeps trucks on the street and barrows out of finished gardens.
We would rather talk you into the cheaper finish where it is the right one. There is a whole page on this site about when plain grey concrete beats a decorative finish, which is not a page most concreters bother to write.
The name
The business is Woodlands Construct. It has occasionally appeared as Woodlands Construction, including from customers, but Construct is the correct one and it is what our Google listing says.
Reviews
We are on 5.0 from over 60 reviews on Google, and every one of those is a five star. Regan replies to them himself. Worth reading them rather than taking our word for any of this.
Carpentry
The business used to be Concrete & Carpentry. These days it is concrete. Regan still does the odd bit of carpentry for family and friends, but it is not something we advertise or price, so please do not ring about it.
